When I was a teenager, I begged my parents to allow me to visit Guatemala for a week with a few of my friends.  Looking back on the situation (I was 14), I can understand why they were so vehemently against the idea, but the appeal of Central America has yet to fade.  With the promise of warmer temperatures, I couldn’t help but float into dreamland and update my screensaver with the following rotating images.
