Since the past few weeks were essentially one long party, I have admittedly spent next to zero time in the kitchen.  I think my beau noticed, too, because when I walked into the office this morning, I was greeted by a surprise delivery with a short note that read, “Donuts, anyone?”  It’s no secret that I’ve devoured Erin McKenna’s recipes in the past (especially here and here) and more than enjoyed my visit to her L.A. bakery in March, so I’m anxious to tackle my weekend obligations and spend the rest of my free time incorporating several of her tasty treats into my regular dessert regimen (namely the gingerbread pancakes, snickerdoodles and madeleines).
